The KAEC is one of the 6 Mega Cities which are under construction
in different regions of Saudi Arabia. The city is located at the Red sea,
near the village of Rabigh. KAEC will reach the dimensions of
Washington DC.

KLA is involved in planning of phase 1. The planning works which
we commenced in 2006 are different Streetscapes and Plazas.
We designed more than 20 km of Green belts along the main
roads,the coastal drive and about 25 km conceptual design for the
surrounding security belt.

Construction works of this first phase commenced in 2007.
